Role Purpose
The incumbent will provide Occupational and Primary Health Care, along with Employee Wellness services, to promote a healthy workforce and ensure compliance with health and safety standardsJob Requirement
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- 5+ years' experience in Primary & Occupational Health Care.
- Registered with the Health Professions Council of Namibia.
- Pharmacotherapy & Dispensing Certificate.
- Spiro, Audio & Vision Testing Certification.
- Knowledge of Namibian Health and Labour Acts & Safety Regulations.
- A Valid driver’s license.
Key Deliverables/Key Perfomance Areas
Key Performance Areas
- Provision of Primary Health care service.
- Manage and plan medical surveillance programme
- Co-ordinating and maintaining occupational health service.
- Provision of professional expertise on incapacity/disability case management.
- Provide Occupational Health Awareness and Education.
- Management of Medical Emergency / Crisis Management.
- Manage Return to Work Programme.
- Monitoring, Reporting, and Record Keeping.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare laws, occupational health regulations, and ethical standards to maintain legal compliance in the delivery of workplace health services.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards and legislation to maintain a safe and legally compliant work environment..
